Andy Van Slyke says that helmet law will result in future deaths

Former Pittsburgh Pirate and current first base coach for the Detroit Tigers, Andy Van Slyke, is steamed over MLB's new helmet law. This season base coaches are required to wear helmets to protect them from head injuries that could result in death (this is in response to the death of Double-A Tulsa coach Mike Coolbaugh). Van Slyke doesn't like the rule at all. He says wearing the helmet in the hot sun has caused him to have headaches and will result in future heat strokes and heart attacks. Of course Van Slyke isn't serious but it's an interesting perspective.
