Pirates come to 5-year agreement with Snell

Ian Snell and the Pittsburgh Pirates have come to an agreement to keep the pitcher wearing black and gold long-term. I love this deal. Snell is one of the top young pitchers in the game and he gives 100% effort each and every outing. He has got a blue-collar attitude and work ethic and wants to win - most importantly, he wants to win wearing a Pirates uniform. Snell is exactly the type of young players that the Buccos need to lock up and build around.
