Josh Hamilton deserves your All-Star vote

Paying deep in the heart of Texas and for the dead-last place Rangers, Josh Hamilton isn't getting a lot of publicity. The former Cincinnati Red is currently leading the world with 32 RBI. Add his .330 BA and the rest of his stats and he's a legitimate All-Star. So keep him in mind when you're voting.

I know this will never happen since the Rangers are terrible, but Hamilton is approaching MVP and Triple Crown status. Last night, he hit a grand slam to lift Texas to a 9-11 win over the Royals - RBIs 29,30,31, and 32. Hamilton's 32 in April is second only to Juan Gonzalez's (steroid-induced) 35 in 1998. His 6 HRs ties him for second in the American League; Hamilton's .330 BA ties him for third in the league.

"He's done everything you can possibly do," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "He's played defense, he's thrown and run well, he hits, he drives in runs -- you couldn't ask for more."
