Big Daddy writes over at Indian Fever (one of my new favorite blogs). His latest post discusses, among other things, David Dellucci's 3-run pinch hit homer to lead the Fighting Braves of the Cuyahoga to a 5-3 victory over the New York Yankees. Tonight's game will be nationally televised on ESPN and will feature two undefeated pitchers: Cliff Lee (5-0) 0.96 ERA against Chien-Ming Wang (6-0) 3.00 ERA. Hopefully last night's spark will turn into a blaze tonight in the Bronx.
Dellucci's HR is the featured homer of the day on Home Run Derby (another BCB favorite).
